Prospect Energy-Yanzhou 200MW/400MWh Transformer Shared Energy Storage Power Station in Yanchi County, Wuzhong City, Ningxia
Recently, 65 battery bins of Yanzhou Transformer Shared Energy Storage Power Station in Yanchi County, Wuzhong City, Ningxia, built by Yanchi Energy Science and Technology Branch of the State Power Investment and Aluminum Corporation, have all completed the foundation pouring operation, marking that the project has officially entered the stage of equipment installation. In order to ensure the safe operation of the project after grid connection, Zhefu Intelligent will provide 63 sets of -Zephyr®BIES, a thermal runaway suppression device for Zhefu lithium battery, and provide a customized energy storage fire prevention and control system solution of "cluster-level detection+cluster-level suppression".
It is worth mentioning that the fire alarm control device of Zhefu energy storage power station can combine the abnormal positioning information of BMS to realize the accurate positioning of abnormal battery clusters and solve the problem of inaccurate cluster-level detection and positioning. This innovative technology provides higher accuracy and reliability for thermal safety management of energy storage power stations.
This project is the first shared energy storage power station in Yanchi County, with a total investment of about 750 million yuan, an installed capacity of 200 MW /400 MWh, and an annual peak shaving capacity of not less than 250 times. It adopts electrochemical energy storage system, especially centralized series PCS, and improves the battery utilization rate through cluster management technology, and the overall energy storage efficiency is 4% higher than centralized one.
After the completion of the project, it will effectively meet the needs of Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base and Yanchi County for new energy consumption and peak load shedding, which is of great significance for promoting the safe and stable operation of the power grid, alleviating the pressure of peak power supply, optimizing the allocation of power resources, building a new power system, etc., and will effectively help the local energy clean and low-carbon transformation, and contribute to the construction of the Yellow River Basin ecological protection and high-quality development pioneer area in Ningxia.
