Zhiguang Electric-Huaneng Shangdu Million kW Wind Power Base Project
At 23: 58 on June 30, 2023, Huaneng Shangdu Million kW Wind Power Base Project, the first large new energy base project in China, was connected to the grid with full capacity.
Zhefu provides cabin safety protection for the intelligent optical energy storage system in this project. Through the class detection technology, the Zhefu system can monitor the abnormal conditions such as temperature, smoke and combustible gas in the energy storage cabin in time. Once the fire risk is found, the system will quickly start the class fire extinguishing device, effectively restraining the fire risk and fire spread. The fire prevention and control system solution of energy storage lithium battery with high protection level ensures the safe operation of energy storage projects and provides a reliable guarantee for the large-scale application of renewable energy.
Huaneng Shangdu Million-kilowatt Wind Power Base Project is located in Zhenglan Banner and Duolun County of Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia. It adopts the "wind-fire bundling" delivery mode, and relies on Shangdu Power Plant's 3.72 million kilowatts of thermal power to build 1.6 million kilowatts of wind power and 300,000 kilowatts of energy storage power station, so as to realize the joint delivery of "wind-fire storage" and green electricity to Beijing. The project adopts the construction mode of "building while investing and connecting to the grid in batches", which can deliver 6.5 billion kWh of clean electricity to the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan area every year, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 5.4 million tons, with remarkable economic benefits and ecological and environmental benefits.
